A classic, or the new rendition?
I grew up watching The
Wizard of Oz, it is such a classic that I think everyone can enjoy. The new
rendition is actually quite good, but I don’t think it trumps the original at
all. The only aspect that would be better in the new one than the original is
the amount of effects that are used. The special effects in Oz the Great and Powerful are much more spectacular,
but if you consider the time period the original was made in, those effects are
pretty fantastic as well.
